Book now!Battledore arena is a passion driven venture started by three IT professionals. The story starts from the days when the struggle was real to find a quality indoor badminton space. We have made a humble attempt to bring the International Badminton experience to the masses. We aim to be the industry leader in every aspect of badminton and to innovate at all levels of the sport, be it facility, operation, event planning, teaching and athlete development.
At ‘Battledore Arena’ we have 5 indoor hybrid (Wooden+Synthetic flooring) badminton courts as per international standards. The first layer of flooring is made of superior quality Teak wood with pine runners and EPDM cushioning underneath to provide unmatched shock absorption, elasticity and stability so that athletes can play hard with great style. Whereas, the synthetic high quality Victor mats laid on top of the wooden flooring provides players with good bounce and traction.
Badminton requires relatively bright environment, considering which, we have best in class LED lights to cater the needs. The lights also come with a diffuser so that it is not too intense on your eyes and are carefully placed between the courts such that they come in minimal contact with the trajectory of the shuttle. We have ensured that there are no reflective surfaces in the entire play area. All the surfaces are wrapped with green net so that you never miss the sight of the shuttle.

Battledore Arena is extremely pleased to partner with " The Badminton Professionals " founded by Anup Sridhar. Olympian, Arjuna awardee and an International player of tremendous repute. He currently trains some of the Country's and State's best players at the Karnataka Badminton Association. The Badminton Professionals strive to provide high quality coaching programs across Beginner, Intermediate and Advance level as well as for Adults. They have well trained and certified coaches who impart the Badminton coaching through a structured curriculum and lesson plans. Parents and students can understand the progress through the assessments and progress reports formulated by the Technical experts. Parents are always encouraged to interact with the coaches and take feedback.

Rohit is passionate about coaching. He is extremely dedicated and motivated towards his job. He is NIS certified from Sports Authority of India, BWF Level 1 and Shuttle Time Coach and constantly works towards bettering himself as a coach. He works alongside Chief Coach Anup Sridhar with the International and National level players at Karnataka Badminton Association. He takes great interest in honing the skills of an intermediate player as well as in introducing the game to a beginner. But he feels he's more attracted to the challenge of training small children as that is more difficult for a coach. Rohit possesses an array of trick shots which he displays from time to time mesmerizing his young students.
Anil is very passionate about Badminton. He considers it as his mission to coach children on badminton. He has worked extensively with Chief Coach Anup Sridhar at Karnataka Badminton Association courts with advance and intermediate level players. He has represented as a Karnataka state team coach for the U-13 National Championship in 2019 in Bhagalpur, Bihar. He had bagged Silver medal in Student Olympics District - Singles & Doubles. His forte is to make children love the game by which learning becomes the natural outcome. He is known to be popular mentor and an interactive person among his peers and parents.
Manoj is very dedicated and passionate about coaching. He is NIS certified from Sports Authority of India. He has worked alongside Chief Coach Anup Sridhar at Karnataka Badminton Association in honing the International and National level players. A BCA graduate, who loves spending time with the children & honing the skills of intermediate players as well as introducing the game to a beginner. He has 3 years of coaching experience from Nellore Badminton Association. He also has a rich experience training students across the country. He has represented his University as well as his state during his playing days. He is also a continuous District Badminton Champion for 5 years. He understands his students well and provides what they require.
